IIT Roorkee appointment to Faculty positions
Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee invites the application from Indian Nationals (foreign nationals can be appointed on renewable contracts of five years) with outstanding track record for faculty positions at the level of Associate Professor. The Institute intends to fill up about 20 faculty positions through this advertisement in the following Departments/Centres.
Department/Centers: Architecture and Planning, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science & Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences, Hydrology, Management Studies, Mathematics, Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, WRDM, Alternate Hydro Energy Centre, Department of Polymer and Process Engg. (Saharanpur Campus).
Without any compromise on qualification, experience and competence, the reservation policy of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India regarding SC, ST and OBC will be applicable for positions in the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences and Department of Management Studies. For appointments. preference will be given to the Persons with Disabilities, if suitable PH candidates are available.
