U P Pani takes charge as Director (HR) NTPC

Shri U.P. Pani has taken charge as Director (Human Resources), NTPC today. An Electrical Engineer from BITS Pilani ( 1978 Batch) , Shri Pani joined NTPC in November 1978 as third batch Executive Trainee.

He has worked in Korba, Talcher Kaniha and was Head of Project at Kahalgaon ,Vindhyachal and NTPC JV NSPCL before heading the Eastern Region of NTPC in 2010 as Executive Director.

As Director (Human Resources), Shri Pani will be responsible for the entire Human Resource functions of the organization. He shall also be responsible for Power Management Institute (PMI), Industrial Safety, Resettlement & Rehabilitation, CSR, Medical Services , Corporate Security and coordination.
