Recruitment to the post of Registrar

Applications are invited from Indian citizen with highly qualified, dedicated academicians or educational administrators with proven leadership qualities for appointment as Registrar, a statutory post.
Essential Qualifications :
1. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC seven point scale.
2. (i) At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000 and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in Educational Administration.

(ii) Comparable experience in Research Establishment and/or other institutions of Higher Education

(iii) 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
Method of Recruitment: Direct Recruitment/Deputation.
Pay in the Pay Band : Rs. 37400-67000 + GP Rs. 10000/-
Other Conditions:
The appointment will be on tenure for a period of five years or till attaining the age of 62 years whichever is earlier.
The Qualification and other conditions prescribed in the advertisement are subject to the regulations/norms stipulated by the MHRD/UGC from time to time.
